I'm trying to decide whether to get a 2.4C m0 or a 2.8C m0 from AZZO. I just want to know if it's worth spending that extra 60 bucks.

Thanks!

What are you planning to cool it with?

i'd wait and get a prescott cpu myself ...i took my fsb up to 260 earlier and my cpu did'nt like it much but 800 mhz overspeed is ok on stock vcore i suppose:D

i had a 2.4C /w m0 but it only hit 3ghz, but i think the mobo was limiting me. and i have a 2.8C D1 stepping and i got 3.3ghz with 1.525vcore

I'm going to be using all the same parts in my sig right now, cooling it with a Vantec AeroFlow. They've never failed me before. I was able to get my old 2.4C to 3.36. This CPU just ain't as good.

How much are prescott's going to go for?

i bought 1 2.8c M0 and it went only to 3.3ghz stable... so i bought another one, with a pack date of Dec 07. This one is stable at 3.6ghz... it could do more for sure, but my cooling isnt good enough to push it further. My temps are higher (5-7C ) over my 2.4c (non-M0) when it was sort of working at 3.4ghz.
