United Devices works just like the Seti client, using distributed processing to help process data.

As a first step to find a cure, the NFCR Centre must evaluate the cancer fighting potential of hundreds of millions of individual molecules. It is anticipated that about 24 million hours of computer time will be required to accomplish this task—considered to be the largest computational chemistry project ever undertaken ... and now you can be a part of it.

A lot of people on this board may have been affected by cancer one way or another, and as extra incentive to help out you can win prizes from UD's monthly promotions.

This was noted in Popular Science this month.

Dude, are you Spamming us? Cause I could swear I just read this in the cooling section as well.

Not that I don't appreciate being well informed. But next time please post such items in a more appropriate topic (general discussion comes to mind).

Oh- and the links is broken anyway.

I'm crunching a bit for seti in the "www.overclockers.com seti team", and folding a bit for the... yes, you guessed it, "www.overclockers.com folding team". Big deal, I know.
