I know this has most likely been brought up some where before...but I don't feel like looking.
What ram is know to play well with an IC7 max3 mother board?
Any ram from 400 to 533.

I use Kingston HyperX pc3200 on my IC7-Max3. I'm running it at ddr440 now. Stock it's ddr400.

get the Mushkin PC3500 Level 2 while it still lasts. It's almost sold out.

It is BH-5 memory, and I run it at 2.7v.
Timings are 2-3-3-6 stable.

What is all this BH-5 memory about?

Supposively, BH-5 memory is better than CH-5 for overclocking.
When you really get down to it (cutting edge) BH-5 will be better RAM for overclocking.
That's what I have gathered. It's not bad RAM (CH-5) but it won't overclock as well as BH-5. Don't sweat it if you don't get BH-5.

Whats so special about that type of ram?

because that RAM has BH-5 type in it. BH-5 memory can overclock good with tight memory timings. I just got my PC3500 and indeed it is performing well. But if you don't have the cash for it ($300) and don't really considering overclocking that much, Kingston HyperX pc3500 are good alternatives.
Cosair Xms4000 is ok with the Max3 but I can't get any tight timing then 2.5-4-4-6.

Ok, The main reason I'm asking this question is because my PC2700 will not run over 133 or 266 on this board like it did on my IT7 max2. So its time for some ram that works.
