It seems that my computer has a cycle similar to a female. Every month to a month and a half, out of no where, an XP bsod shows up. It doesnt look like the bsod ive seen in previous versions of Windows; it has a different type of font, and text isnt located only in the middle of the screen. And it says an error in memory sector blah blah and exception in 0X89#%126SH2D-0026XXX0-00006623 (just a random number). It gives some suggestions like i might not have enough HDD space. So I restart my comp, and it seems that XP had the sudden urge to jettison my PCI 802.11b drivers. The card only shows up as a Network controller, and XP cant find any drivers. This really annoys me. But then I choose "let me choose a driver." And i find a generic 802.11b driver. I install that restart, and it cant find the network. Well I can fix the network sometime, but i know for a fact that the bsod is not good. What could be causing this? I dont want to reinstall windows b/c i hate moving my favorites and documents and shortcuts.
