What would you get if you were me
Im in doubt of Getting twinmos pc 3200 1 gig dual channel cas 2.5 for 150 euro
OR:
kingston pc 3500 hyperx 512 mb cas 2, also 150 euro
its for a p4 2.6 or p4 2.8
abit ic7 mobo
i want to overclock to at least 3.2 ghz and the system is for gaming only
what would be the better buy, the cheap 1 GB or the expensive 512 and get 512 later in like 2 months?

You would do just fine with 512 for gaming. I had 512 for about 6 months and gaming was flawless. Now I have 1 gig and there is no difference in gaming, only video editing and photoshop.
You really should get 2x256 instead of 1x512 to take advantage of the dual-channel capabilities of that motherboard. The performance increase is substantial.

dude, how many times do you have to keep asking questions like these? You've posted about TwinMOS all over the place. The conclusion is set. If you're not overclocking hardcore, then TwinMOS is fine. If you want to do serious overclocking, Kingston is the choice.

easy math. Kingston 512MB = single channel. Twinmos 2x512MB = dual channel. I don't need to explain further.
Get the Kingston and later when you have enough money you can get another Kingston stick beside your allready 512MB memory module. That's what i did.

I'm new here too and I also have many questions, but you are sort of spamming the forums. I'm sure if you condensed your posts you would get a much better response.

A month later you might "regret" to find the exact match pair for the memory you buy today. I mean is either you will or you won't find the exact match. You might lose PAT capability when they are installed in pair but not exact match. I rather buy hyx pc 3500 512mb X 2 pieces today and forget the money concern.
