Comp OS Issues

Ok, my comp showed the bsod a few times in the past few days. I just reinstalled xp today and my 802.11b network card wont install. Ive been wanting to get a new HDD for a while b/c im running out of crap room on my 60gb HDD. So i think im going to move my crap over to the new hdd and reformat the old one. is this the best way to go or do anyof you have any other recomendations. Thanks.

I would probably put XP on the new drive if the new one has a bigger cache(sp) and posibly higher transmit speed. Other than that it sounds like a good plan of action.

Do you know why the NIC would not install right?

The NIC installed, but i cant get any networks and ive tried everything. Im also thinking of installing a linux on the hd that doesnt have XP. what are some suggestions on versions for linux?
