Hello all,

I am having a strange issue while overclocking my 9800 pro. My new 120gb maxtor SATA raid 0 drives seem to start having issues loading (mainly games) It seems they take anywhere from 5 to 20 times as long to load depending on how much I overclock my video card (higher the Mhz the longer the wait times). I also notice and audible CLICK when the problem arises from the HD's. I have tried many different programs for overclocking all with the same results. I am able to run the config with a single drive and O/C my video card core up to 485 np. Please help

Many thanks

David

Well maybe one of the drives is going south or maybe since the video card is overclocked beyond its stable capabilities it's not loading the game information into it's ram properly and is trying multiple times to get the correct info it needs to run the game. Try a diagnostic on the drives to make sure they're OK and if they are then maybe your video card should be run a stock speeds, they all can't be great OC'ers. Or it could go deeper into a motherboard issue that would be all but impossible to pinpoint.
