I got my chip for about 3 days ago celeron 700 cCO and it is running fine at 830 1,65v fsb 79 windows temp at 28-32. Full load =q3 arena 1 1/2 h 39-41. But i have tryed to set it at 85 fsb 1.65v - 1.85v but it wont post
please help me figure out why.And because of the low temp at 79fsb
i thought it would be easey to make it run 85fsb. if you have a trick please tell me .i havent tryed higher v core because i dont no how much they can
take.
Most celermines like increased Vcore to go higher. Not all but MOST. The design maximum is 2.1v- all but the most reluctant chips will do their thing with 1.95v or less. Try running it up to 1.85 or 1.9v and see how it goes. Be sure to watch the temps though! With increased Vcore the temps may take off if you don't have aftermarket cooling of the premium type.
Are you still using the intel heatsink/fan arrangement, or have you upgraded from that?? I'd seriously look into a better hsf before going too far. the intel unit just doesn't cool well enough when overclocking.

Yep,Cool the sucker!!
Had a very similar situation with my Celeron II 600. It would run up to 928 (103) using only 1.65v but when I tried for 1008 (112) I needed to boost the voltage to 1.95v to get it stable. Give that baby some juice & make sure you keep it cool! Stock HSF is probably not a good idea. I put an Alpha PEP66 w/ Arctic Silver on mine and it runs at 34C under full load. Of course cooling also pertains to keeping the case cool. I've got a 120mm blowing in at the front of the case and the power supply and a high output 80mm blowing out at the rear. Juice it and keep it cool - it's a winning combination.
