Depends how high you plan to overclock your cpu...i c you have a 2.6 say you oc it to 3.3ghz you can have 5:4 divider which will bring the memory to 204MHz your basic oc... if you wanna go higher do a vdimm mod or switch the divider to 3:2 and go higher on your fsb....

You have good stuff. You memory is garenteed to run at 500mhz (250fsb). Yes i would overclock it. You would only buy memory that good if you want to overclock.

Do you mean 250fsb with a 1:1 divider? I've got this ram, and I can't even get to windows past 225fsb 1:1 using 3-4-4-8 timings.

That mem is made for 3200 speeds freedie not 4000. So i would say you could get lucky and get it up to 216 with 2-3-2-6 at 2.7 with no problem.

If thats CH-5 based modules your talking about then it will go high mhz and tight timings with lots of voltage. Its been said lately that high voltage with CH-5 chip is bad for its health and they might be in for an early death.
Im testing at 2.8v today (2.87v actual). So far with my i865 chipset Abit AI7, I have 1:1 going at 225mhz 2.5-4-4-6 with pat set to A-N-5-E-D. I have been looping various memtest86 tests, mainly test 3 and 5. Test 5 seems to be the most prone to failing so its a good one to try first. All seem well with the above settings. The great thing about it is peace of mind knowning that the ram is running what should be a safe operating voltage.
