Where can i get a new power button/switch? Xoxide/directron/performance-pcs are all out. Anywhere else you know of? Also i have a lian li, and is there a way to splice the electronic ones for cathodes to work with the cable that plugs into the mobo? (The lian li buttons are mecahnical to the point, where the wire that comes from the mobo has a small button, and the case button presses it to start)

All you have to do is find something that will make a circuit between the two pins for the power switch on the front panel header. Any switch that will make a connection between those to pins will work, in a pinch just use something metallic and connect the two pins this will turn on your PC.

Any kind of momentary, normally off switch will perform the function of a power on or reset switch. Try your local DIY or electronics store

for those, just splice a wire to each "barb"? My friend says rocker switches keep the circuit open, would that mean it wouldnt work., or would i have to switch it twice really quick or what?

The rocker switches won't work, well they will but not the way the motherboard expects, most boards will power on then power off agian after 4 secs :( A normal PC on/off switch completes the circuit when pushed in but then breaks it again when you let go (hence the momentarty thing). The switches on the bottom half of that same page will do te job just fine though e.g. Vandal Resistant Illuminated Switch - Blue Dot

Any switch described as momentary, normally off will do. Enjoy :)
