I was stumbling through some sites when i came across this link (http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail.php3?fid=1074728381)
it will run a small D3D window while overclocking your card, once it senses an artifact on the screen, it will tone down the values and tell you the max of your card with its curent cooling. it seemes to work pretty nice. But its only an alpha version, so use with caution.
