When the Windows 2000 Advanced Server asks me to drive drive I would like to install, it doesn't show my SATA Raptor as an option.

What do I have to do to make this work??

I could be wrong but you should have a disk with drivers for your SATA controller. During the initial install there should be an option that asks you to press F6 I believe to install another scsi driver. All you do is press F6 and put the disk in and follow the instructions.

At least that how those things usually work.

I think you may be right. Let me try that out really quickly and I'll let you know how it goes...

yup, i can guarantee that is what it is. just get the drivers, put them on a floppy disk in the root directory and you will be all set when you hit f6 to install the drivers...
