TBSC is good, as is the Audigy or above. However, I prefer the TBSC to the Audigy, and the Audigy 2 to the TBSC.
I liked my TBSC more than my current Sound Storm, but I gave the TBSC to a friend in need.

I throw in another vote for the Santa Cruz, it worked great for me. Also, you can usually find some killer deals on this card.

For gaming: Audigy2 ZS
For music: M-Audio Revolution 7.1
I have had the Santa Cruz for 4 years now and haven't had a single problem with it go for the TBSC it's great for only $40-$60.
My vote is for the Audigy 2 ZS. I own it, and I love it. I'll also note that I havent had any driver problems at all in the 6 years I've been using Creative's soundcards, except a conflict between nForce and SB drivers, but that was nVidia's problem (which they did fix with the latest)
Also, the software that comes with the Audigy 2 ZS, I must say, is very impressive. Adding EAX effects to your music, movies, etc adds a big bonus to the experiance IMO, and theres a whole slew of other stuff that can be done with MediaSource.
And if you couple the Audigy 2 ZS with WinDVD for playing movies (if you do on your computer that is), theres another whole set of features to play with because InterVideo and Creative have partnered together
