Sorry for repeating, but expert help needed.
As you can see, I have Aopen AX6BC (440bx) SLOT 1 MOBO, wich generally is VERY stable. I'm planning to upgrade to PIII 800 Slot 1. The options are FSB 100 or 133MHZ. I know that inherently 440BX suppliea uo to 100 mhz , but mobo's manual says that it's up to 133. I also can see it from BIOS. After flashing the BIOS it can go to as high as 153MHZ!(haven't tried it).
The question is : is 133MHZ designed for overcloaking only, and consequently it's well above spesifications, or if I put PIII 866/133 it'll stable as rock?
Should I choose P 800/100? It costs me the same as P 866/133, so I'd prefer the later if my mobo could handle it.
I'm NOT going to overclock it.
My other peripherals will handle this FSB speed , I suppose ( Radeon, SB 16 PnP, Memory 128MB/133).
Detailed answers are wellcomed.
Thanks.

Yo dude, you're not overclocker so get P3 800EB or 866. and yo're wrong, 133mhz bus chip is not as good overclocker as the 100mhz ones.

Yo mobo should have no problem handling 133mhz bus. Make sure you have a good Hard drive something like IBM deskstar. You will might experience Registry corrupt upon coldstarting your PC. but that's very common. happens to many people. it's up to you.. you want more performance, go with 133bus. You want **** performance with better stability, go with 100bus. good luck!

I would say you will be fine, then only thing that runs out of spec on the bx chipset at 133mhz (apart from the bx chipset) is the agp bus but I would say your radeon will be fine, I think you would be better with a 600E or 650E though as you could then overclock to 800 or 866, I know you said you didn't want to overclock but this isn't really overclocking as the 600/650 are the same chip as the 800/866 it's just that intel has done what overclockers have been doing for a long time by increasing the bus. as for going over a 133mhz bus this is quite difficult on the bx chipset as you are pushing the agp bus harder and harder. I have ran at a 150mhz fsb on my bx chipset and my tnt2 ultra was fine (this card would run on a 133mhz agp bus) bus it is not the same from card to card
