Raid 1 question

If I set up a raid 1 array with 60gig and a 80gig, will the array be 60gig? The boot drive is the 60gig and the hidden drive is the 80gig. When I creat an raid 1 array and the controller asks me to creat an array, do I creat and duplicate or just creat? Both hard drives are empty by the way.

yes, it'll be a 60 gig raid array.

duplicate? depends if there is already data on the master-drive, otherwise you don't have to, if they are noth clean, just create and install os etc.
