View Full Version : FOP-38 works for all socket 370 ??

hey to anyone that knows a crap load about this, would you happen to know if an GW FOP-38 works with all socket 370 interfaces....everywhere i read it says it is for the PPGA i know that this is really close, but was just going to make sure before i went ahead and got it :) anything tips would be appreciated thx.

Well, I have a FOP on my P-III FC-PGA socket 370 CPU and it's working just fine.

FOP38 works fine with Socket A chips. Also, make sure to pick up some Artic Silver II with it, that stuff kix butt! FOP38 is a great cooler, mine was a b*tch to get installed, latching mechanism was really bent back, so it was hard to get it clamped down on both sides of the CPU. I was really freaking that I was going to crack the core, but seems to be working fine!

the FOP will work on all sockets I think, I think it will even fit the p4 but don't hold me to that, I have tryed it on a socket 7, socket 370, a slocket, and a socket A
