Hurray finnaly 1gig+

I finnaly got my celeron 566 cbo to 1020 after a month of seti non stop.
seems to be stable so far did cpustab test for 4hours no the big 1 q3 wish me luck guys

well done, though the 1ghz club is a little old hat now, the current club of the moment is the 1430mhz club, ooh to have that much speed :)

Can you explain exactly what you did in the burn in? Did you have the voltage high or low? Were you running a software cooler? Do you have any other suggestions. Your results are interesting and then some.

When I experimented with burnin in on my celeron I set it to default speed and 2v for about 3months using prime95, seti, sandra and some others, this wasn't 24/7 more like 8-10 hours a day, this then let me run at 750mhz with just 1.3v and at 900 with just 1.55v, 1.01ghz still needed 1.9v though, weird.

Sure Marty it was pretty simple just alot of time to do .I am not running any software cooler al i did was run seti non stop for about month at 1.95v with my 566 at 850 then up the fsb to 120 and voila 1020 stable finnaly

I am currently burning in at 2.2v at 600 as I think 2v was too close to the 1.9v I needed any way to help much at lowering the voltage for 1.01ghz
