i just woke up this morning and decided to check my temps. so i opened up winbound to check. The second winbound opened up, it gave me a warning that one if my temps are high and options on what i should do. The readings for my processor was 117C. Then i opened another program to check the temps, there to it was reading very high temps. so i really quickly rebooted and went into the bios to check the temps there. Everything was fine in the bios, processor was at 41C. Any reason why winbound would show a reading like that?

Has winbound ever had such a reading on your computer before? It could be that winbound isn't capable of reading that mobo. Then again, maybe it was just a error of some kind. It could have been several things, cause' if it got that high, your computer would probably be a puddle of lava:) .

no winbound has never did that before, this is the first time. Usually it is right on with the right temps when compared to the motheboard. so i am guessing that it was just a weird error.

heh, the windond on my biostar did that one night-

was folding overnite and next morning temps were reading something like 85c-

opened a few other hardware monitors and they were giving the same readings-

a simple reboot is all it took, temps read correctly-

sign of bad bios i think because my bios are the worst i've ever seen and biostar aren't releasing hotfixes fast enough-

yeah simple reboot fixed mine also. But this must just be a weird error that happened, and hopefully not the bios. I have v2, but they did come out with v2.1.
