View Full Version : PIII 733 and ASUS CUSL2-C.
I've been trying to overclock my 733 to 933, but i'm pretty new to overclocking and not sure what else to do. I've seen other people with 733 @ 933. I have PIII 733, ASUS CUSL2-C, 384M pc133 Crucial ram, and a super orb for cooling. Iv'e gotten it up to 850 with no problem but I can't get the CPU any higher without locking up. So to all the people that have overclocked with a similar config could anyone let me know what voltage, and what the FSB should be set at. Thanks

Oh Lord... I believe not many people reach 933 on a P3 733 processor even with a freaking good RAM. You need approx. 170mhz FSB to get it to 933mhz on your system. You need some serious Peltier cooling to maybe reach that high. and I don't think your mobo has the sufficient AGP/PCI divider ratio to run your components smoothly at that high bus speed. Good luck mate! but dont count on it.. I would like to see those who did manage to run it that high and be able to play any games also.. if not game,.. all 2D apps all stable?...

the Pentium III 733 has a multiplier of 5.5 and a fsb of 133 that's why hitting 933 out of hit is not quite expectable...
you'd be running an insane fsb of 166-170 i think....
i think you were expecting a Pentium III 700E@933

Ericsson, I already have said 170mhz FSB. and 166mhz ain't correct.
