need help with XP Pro

all the sudden it loops booting , it wont go to the boot screen and just goes back to the bios and boots up again.. WHats up with this? Could it be a virus?

Try booting to the XP CD and reinstalling.

Can you boot to Safe Mode? Also, did you make an Emergency Repair Disk?

Had this happen to me and wasted a lot of time trying to figure it out.......ended up re-formatting................

bah ,, yeah its wierd too , luckly i didnt loose anything , just hope when i restart it will and when i mess with the bios it wont screw up xp.

well it started acting up again a lil, its my bios i think or something to do with my motherboard.

what are your system specs?

maybe with your system info, someone might be able to offer more help. i know on my motherboard, i get a similar problem if "APIC" is enabled in the bios. therefore, i always disable it. on some other boards, this feature works fine.;)
