Ive just received the second of two P3 800/100 cCO processors in the mail. How do you tell the FPO/Batch# and week on OEM processors that aren't in a box???? I'd like to post my overclocking results on them but I cant find all the info that the oc'ers database needs to qualify me. I havent tried the newer one yet but the other one from Costa Rica is @1120 and totally stable. Air cooling only so far with Gorb. Ill try the other one this wknd using a friends Vantec 5030 fan. The stepping spec is SL4BY for both chips. Has anyone used a chip of this spec yet? I havent seen any database entries for one of that spec type.

the black bit on the top of the chip has all the details written on it, there should be a long string of numbers, usually starting with a letter but I have seen some starting with a number recentally, for example starting with a Q or an A, my code is Q049A341-1593 and from that you get the week and year it was made, the year is the number after the Q which in my case measn my chip was made in the year 2000, the week is the 2 numbers after that, so my chip is a week 49
