Can Sandra be wrong?

I installed the trial version of SiSoft Sandra 2001 (standard) and it tells me that my motherboard temperature is 24'C. I have ABIT VH6, and I also have the Hardware Monitor (made by ABIT, for ABIT m.boards) program, which tells me that the board temperature is 27'C. There is also some difference in CPU temp. Can someone please tell me if Sandra is wrong? or is it the Hardware Monitor?

It's a crap shoot- there's a good chance neither is really right. Just pick the worst one and go by it- then you will at least be taking worse case into account. The methods that MBs use to measure temps is erratic at best.
