Which memory slots do you use for dual channel??

1/3 or 2/4 if there the same through all abits

I have an Abit NF7 and I use the two slots closest to the edge of the board...

thats what is says in the manual anyways...

On the NF7 or any other AMD NF2 MB that supports DC, you can have all 3 slots filled and still be in DC since 2 of the Dimms are controlled by one memory controller and the 3rd and 4th (select NF2 MB's have 4 DIMM slots) are controlled by the other memory controller. Which means you can have all the DIMM slots filled and still be in DC mode. Not sure if the P4 DC works the same.
