I am going to build a pc for someone that want to be able to watch his movies via the tv played on his pc.
Not a gamer just someone that wants a purpose built pc
Please post why you feel your suggestion is best

Well I have used a Raedon 7200, 9600pro, 9800pro, and somelike like a gf4 4600. None of them are dramatically different. Although I noticed a big improvement going fron composite video on the 7200 to the S video cable on my 9600pro. They all work fine for movies, but don't expect to be able to read text easily, even at 800x600 res. The Tv's just can't display it good enough.

I don't think you can really tell a difference, they all suck on TVs :D

IMO my old r8500 had better tv-out quality than my 9800 does. U can still find some 8500le's floating around. or grab a 9100.

I'd agree - 9000, 9100, 9200.

9100 would be best but hard to find.

BTW: I find BBA cards have better TV out then any other brand.
