Hi folks.
I recently got my celeron 600 cC0 and I'm now trying to overclock it. So far, I've reached 945 Mhz (9x105 @1.75V) completely stable (Seti, Prime95, Mpeg encoding, Q3,... 24 hours with no problems)
However I cannot get it post at higher speeds. The problem seems only related to the cpu, as the rest of the system is testet at fsb speeds of 112 Mhz and works fine. I'm using the asus p3v4x (bios 6beta2), msi master slot adapter and tried to up the voltage up to 2V (limit of the bios)
It sounds very odd to me that the celeron is completely stable at 945 with almoust default voltage, but won't even post at 990 (fsb 110) even with 2V.
I'm using the alpha pep66t with an 33cfm papst fan and good generic thermal grease, temps at 945 and full load are about 35°C.
Can you help me get to 1 Ghz plz.? Might burn in help? I'm thankful for any comments.

Try burning it in for about a month at 600mhz and 2.0v, and try again...some have had very good results getting a little more that way.
And btw, that is the way with most chips they might do 900 with default volt, and go maybe 933 with your volts maxed out..and it won't go any higher.
Phill just explained this in another thread..and I'm basicly repeating what he said.
Arctic Silver could help a little....it droped my cBO temps four deg c...accross the board
