Any one that paid 300 for that chair is insane. I am glad I went to Staples before I ordered it. That 299 must be a missprint cause that chair is ass. I wouldnt even spend 70 or 50 on it. And the leather must of come from a platic cow cause it didnt feel like real leather AT ALL only pleather. But they did have some nicer ones that I might get. But definatly not that one. Thanks but no thanks. Just a heads up.

Smart move trojanman. A leather chair IMHO is one of those things you have to try before you buy. I wouldn't buy a car without taking it for a test drive, and for as much time as I spend sitting in front of the computer, it better be what I want.
On a side note, I noticed that the majority of good leather chairs many times have metal legs, padded arm rests and state in the decription that it is Italian leather.

I specifically bought a cloth chair to avoid tearing the fake/cheap leather chairs, but now this cloth is ripping too :( Sigh, proves you get what you pay for..

WOW. I bought two of these puppies about a year ago for $35 each. I would not of bought them if they were a dollar more expensive...
DEFINITELY not worth 299 and i would probably balk at 50.
That said, they are GREAT $35 chairs.

It's a $70 chair that we routinely mark down with MIRs to $30-40 usually at the same time with its fabric counterpart, Sku 800614

If you really want a comfortable chair, don't get one with the stupid post that comes up in the center of the seat area and then is like a platform with padding on it. Get a more traditional style chair with 4 legs (these can still have wheels so no worries there). On these chairs you don't have a big platform of hard wood with padding on it that you are sitting on. On those ones you are usually sitting on a sprung seat area and the difference in comfort is like night and day. Be prepared to spend a nice chunk of change though heh.
