Western Digital drives made in Thailand problems

Hi Guys,

Just picked up a couple of retail boxed WD 160GB 8MB cache and noticed they were built in Thailand (dated Dec-9-2003). Normally all the WD drives I have got before have been made in Malaysia and fingers crossed no problems.

Does anyone know if drives made in Thailand are better/worse/same ? Has anyone got any experience of drives made in Thailand (noise, speed, failure rates etc) ?

mine's made in thailand, and it works great. it's the fastest drive i have, even faster than my maxtor ata133 7200 rpm drive.
