OK, I may be on to something here or the luckiest person in OC history! Just got the second of two cCO P3 800/100 slot 1 OEM chips. Both run flawlessly on my Abit Bf6 @ 1120 mhz. with GORB and 256 megs Mircon. The first was purchased from Z-Buy.com in january (week 43 2000 chip from Costa Rica) and the second was purchased from Invado/Microsource Last week( week 07 2001 chip from Phillipines). Needless to say, im quite pleased. Got serious Sam yesterday and played it for about 2 hours (had to run GeForce 2 at default because it apparently is a demanding engine, but its an awesome game)then passed out.Yihaaaaa! ******Oh yes , the Stepping Spec is SL4BY on both chips****** :D

Elin27,
Have you tried to OC with only one stick of your RAM sticks? You might be able to go higher with one stick.

Hey milkpowder, congrats on the 152fsb, I see you have the rev1.2 be6. What Bios are you using? Im getting the Rev 2.0 this wknd and will put the other 800 in it. I am getting some "major brand pc 133" (I know but it was only 75 bucks) to go in it tho it will prob not go cas 2 higher than 133. Any tips for the Be6? So far with this chip, 140 fsb seems to be the sweet spot for performance. Then ill have ttwo computers very much identical with a radeon 64 in one and a GeForce 2 in the other.:)

That's cool.. sounds like you'll be having nice two solid systems! Yeah the BE6-2 Rev.2 is good one and with its onboard Raid makes it nicer. hopfully you'll get little better result with it! Have u thought about checking out the Abit SH6? they are for Slot1 and I think it's the best overclocker. I believe that thang has 1/2 AGP ratio. anyways.. no, I haven't flashed bios on my mobo and infact, I replaced to this mobo not long ago b/c I killed the previous BE6-2 Rev.1. arrgggg. This new mobo rev 1.2 has the latest bios i think.. I didn't even check.... it should be noted on Abit web site..

Yep, the SH6 is good but dont they use the 815 series chipset? Im still a little timid to try anything other than the 440bx as it has yielded such great results I wanted to stay with what I know from 1st hand experience is a very proven and stable mobo the old 440bx chipset is IMHO still the wisest choice for overall Compatibility/performance. Abit 440bx boards and Coppermines have given Overclockers a lot of successes and im a conservative at heart. Ill post back at the forum when the other rig is oc'd and running stable benchmarks on 3dMark 2000/2001. :)
