when do the prescotts actually come out??

sp when do the prescotts actually come out?? i know its next month sometime...

I believe they are to be announced february 1st. Many of the big oems such as dell and hp already have them and are builing systems with them, I'd suspect they'd be availible for retail purchase on or about feb 1st.

Good idea, wait and see how the initial steppings do and then assess what the best chip is for you. Buying one of the first can be a bad idea as many early samples dont OC well.....
My bday on March 5th, you just made me think what I want too!
