Ok I have a real problem..
About a year ago I put on a 800U onto my 8rda+, and broke a resistor due to there TERRIBLE instruction and my dumbness (is that a word  ). So I tired 21351245 ways to fix it and it never worked.
But anyway, I was just testing different parts and I poped in my 1600+ (Pally) and some PC2100 and it booted. I WAS LIKE WTF!!!
So I got it all workin to boot into A: drive, and decided to put my 1700+ tbred in it to overclock it and then run seti on it all night long
So I put my 1700 in, and I get FF and no other code, it just beeps like sirens. So I reset bios, pull battery and even try the Insert-Del on boot up thing, nothing worked. Put my 1600+ Pally back in and it boots up first try. I do this about 5 times and then same thing ever time.
So does anyone have ANY idea what this is doing?
A Pally works in it, but a tbred doest?
Remember, that resistor is right next to the CPU socket that I broke. It is about 1/2 the size it was and filled with CPU conductive grease (Last chance to get it working about a year ago)
I have NO idea how this is working, but it is.
I would love any opinions!
