im planning on building a phase change system similar to a prommy, now my question is, how much power do i need in the compressor to get temps well below zero?
i have easy access to almost all compressors, and to virtually any refrigerant. i would like the compressor to be small enough to fit in an aluminum box im building for the bottom of my Chieftech style case

I know for a fact that 1/4hp compressors are small, I am looking at one right now lol and it would fit in my Chieftech case. it also with the right refrigerant could get well below 0c.

a 1/4 hp 12vdc compressor will suit you well. get one that is compatable with r404a.
