Man I have been telling people this for ages, even if you keep your temps really low (It's quite easy to keep them around 40oC with something like the FOP) the chips can die real soon, you need to use super cooling to get them to sub zero temps for this type of voltage to be safe, and usually you can run at very close speeds (with in 10%) with a safe voltage (under 2v), from another perspective though if it's a brand new chip and it dies you always have your warranty to save you, unless there are scorch marks it's not like they can tell you have overclocked it

Don't blame the Celly for crap fraps. Default settings with my 566 I get over 110 fps. You got probs elsewhere.

How long were you running it @ 2.2v? I can run my Celeron @ 2.4v and it never died yet. It was @ 903 1.75v, but i put my p3 back in after i modded my P2 extra large heatsink and put it on. Burning in for 1 week @ 2.1v (2.0v defualt) 563mhz 125mhz fsb. Slot1 chips are alot harder to cool. Using 1 80mm fan to cool.

I'll say this...that 700 of yours has survived a lot longer than I expected at those voltages you constantly put thru it....

I'll also say this....that Celeron is on borrowed time if you continue to do so.....
