3 million ghz computer!!! Sweetness!! but 30 year wait :(

Hey, did any of you see an article in the USA news, and world report about the super fast computer? It doesn use circuits like computers now, it uses atoms, or something like that. Anyway, I just think this is reall sweet. Although it wont be available to the public for quite a while, it is guessed at about 2030 we will be able to buy them. Just checking to see if anyone else saw this.

Ever heard of Moore?

This guy stated (back in the eighties) that cpu-speeds will multiplie by 1.5 every year...
in 30 years we'll have a 1.5^30*1000Mhz=+/- 20million Mhz.... If he's still right by then...

yeah, but still, this computer doesnt build up any heat, non whatsoever, and it is already built today. But as always the government can only use it untill they decide we can use it. And if we do have 20 milion mhz computers, that use chips like computers do now, then it would have to be based on the super conducter. But still, no matter how fast computers get, we will probably ALWAYS want faster. Although right now, I cant see myself wanting anything faster then 3 milion ghz.
