Yea, no lie something went wrong...with an 800E, running at 155, you are looking at 1240mhz...and there's no way to run that high without supercooling of some kind, and even then, 1240 is pushing back the envelope a little too far..try something a little more reasonable, like maybe 133mhz..remember you gotta walk b4 you can run...at 133mhz your 800 will be at 1064, and if you can get that, then count yourself one of the lucky ones

hey, i said that is a PIII 800EB, that means, that standard FSB is 133, ok.

Got mine at 166 on a 815e pro MB givin me 1 gig :)

Runnin solid with cas2 and all the power tools in the bios set to max.

Plus my tnt2 ultra is Oc to 170 core 198 mem.

this is with 256 100mhz mem.

scoreing 4000 in 3d mark 2000.

Go for it m8, just burn her in a bit with cas3 plus all the bios power tools set low

You are running that 256mb PC100 Memory at 166mhz bus? That is outstanding.. I do know that some of the PC100 RAM can run well at such high FSB. great.

Did you try cranking the VIO up a bit?

You can deffinatly get higher than 155fsb with this chip. A list of all your components would help. What is your ram set at? If you can set your CPU:RAM:PCI ratio to 133:100:33 you'll take care of that problem. What is your voltage at. My chip seems to start needing higher voltage at that speed. Try 1.8 or 1.9. Also what do you have for cooling. You are gunna need better than stock cooling for any higher. I have had my p3800EB at over a gig and able to run for a while before crashing. I think whats holding me back right now is cooling. Good luck.
