Im having some problems getting my 2x256 pc3500 lvl2 chips in dual channel to run stable now for some reason. Im trying to get it to run at 217, 1:1, 2,2,2,11 which are stock settings. However, I have tried all voltages from 1.7-1.85 and regardless of the voltage, I have problems in memtest. At 1.7-1.75 I get errors in some of the tests in the first pass. However, when I go up to 1.8-1.85 I dont get errors but memtest runs for about an hour and then totally freezes. I did a vdimm mod to my board so I would be able to adjust the voltages eaiser and all these voltages were taken with a multimeter. I also tried running the sticks in both slots 1&3 and 2&3 but that didnt really make a difference either. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do?

if memtest freezes disable legacy usb in the bios. Is that vcore or did you mean 2.8v for the ram?

Yea do you mean to change all those 1. voltages to 2. voltages? Clarify that first.
If youre talking about 2. voltages, and its freezing at 2.8, I suspect cooling problems. What are your case temps like? Try running it with the door open and a house fan blowing inside and see what happens there.
Though I've only used 512 mb sticks of ram, I could not get anything to run dual channel on my NF7S v2. Try running single channel and see what happens.

Yeah i meant 2.8, whoops. Well, I flashed my bios from the supposedly amazing and awesome bios10 to the newest, bios 21, and now memtest seems to be fine. I ran it for about 2 hours at the same settings and no errors and it didnt freeze. I got sick of it though so I turned it off but ill run it again tonight for 12 hours or so just to make sure everything is ok. I never knew the bios could make such a big difference.

Well Im stable now but I have to run my ram at 2.85V in order to run at stock settings of 217 2,2,2,11. Isnt this voltage just a bit too high for stock settings? Anything below this causes p95 to fail early.
