Ive finished tweaking my new cCO 800 to 1120. This new system uses a Radeon 64 vivo card on a Abit "be62 rev 2". The final stabilising changes were to set the I/O voltage on the Radeon machine lower to 3.3v down from the default of 3.5v (anyone have any ideas why this improved stability?)and a raise of the L2 cache latency from 5 up to 8 (although this only reduced my 3dMark 2001 score by one point! from 3252 to 3251 haha!) Serious sam kept crashing with errors and neither 3dMark would complete multiple runs until I reduced the I/O volt down to 3.3v and the cache up to 8.I know this will bore some of you but ill run some benches of both systems tonite on 32 bit color and report/compare the results back here. Also, Ill try and remember to enter both results in the CPU database as I think they're both not too shabby, gloat gloat :)

Ok put both machines video cards at default clock/mem and tested in 32 bit color with 3dMark 2000/2001 otherwise specs are as below. I've decided not to use 16 bit as everyone knows the Radeon is outclassed by the GeForce there (8050 in 3dMark 2000). Both machines are using DX8.

Results: 2000=GeForce machine got 5325/ Radeon machine got 4769
2001=GeForce machine got 3139/ Radeon machine got 3251
