Someone has asked me to post this:
I have 2 80 gig Western Digital 7200rpm 8MB cache hardrives. I have them on Raid 0 on a Via Controller onboard the asus p4p800 deluxe. Is there anyway to monitor their temperatures?

No, you'd have to rig up your own, and that could only be for external temps. I'm sure it is not worth the hassle.
They don't come with Temp Monitors anyway... Rig up an external one if your concerned about temps...

Sure you can monitor the temps on a harddrive, even if it is a SATA and /or in a RAID array
WHAT do you want to monitor it with though? some people put a finger on it, and monitor it like that and others hook up a little temp. probe so they have a digital read out...
Myself i just pour a little water on it, and see the evaporation rate, that's how I see if it's just hot...or too hot...
Just kidding.......

Speedfan will monitor all hard drive temps showing the raid array as one drive. You can see it here. (http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php)
No, it doesn't support all Drives, i have the exact same hard drive and with SpeedFan i can only monitor my Maxtor drive, the WD SE 80GB versions did not come with a Temp monitor sensor, only the 120GB and higher...
