i need to know the max "safe" voltage that can be pushed through a 9500pro/ 9800se (128bit version). the gpu is wc and there are beefy ramsinks on everything else.

i was thinking that 1.8-1.9v on the gpu and 3.5-3.6v on the mem would be max safe limits.

thanks for any input

p.s. does anyone know the stock volts of the 9800SE 128bit card.

No you don;t want to put that much juice through BGA ram. I usually find anything over 3.1v causes artifacts for me. If you run the ram for any length of time with 3.5v it will kill your ram really fast.

uh,what cooling for gpu? on air,i wont go much higher than 1,7-1,75 volts, ram should be fine at max ~3,2

if its just for benching, then it could get a little bit more,if you lower it,after benching...

Edit:this only counts,if the 9500 pro,uses same voltage,like my 9500 np...
