Farm is down

I feel I owe it to you guys to let you all know I had to sell off my farm.My PPW will drop.Some of you may remember that I lost my job that I had for the last 15 years in an earlier post.Its not the end,but at the moment it sure feels like that to me.I worked long and hard to get that farm up to speed and running smooth.I kid you not,It was hard to take it apart.My son and daughter found great pride in showing the farm off to their friends,just to prove if nothing else that their Dad is in fact "A bit Off the deep end"I will miss the Hum of power that once came from the corner of my basement.Its not that I needed the money, I just thought it would be a good idea to sell the stuff off to save on the Electric bill and with computer parts aging by the minute,to me it just made sense.Someday I will rebuild and strike fear to those you strive to be in the top ten.For now I will reside to be a stepping stone. Pending some last sales,I will have some free stuff to my fellow folders,shipping charges is all you will need.Will post in this thread when they are there.

Thanks for telling us, Rick. I am very sorry to hear you lost your job, I am sure you will be able to get another one pretty quickly. I completely understand, sometimes folding has to take the back seat when "RL" (real life) gets in the way. We will miss your farm, but the loss of it just means we have to go out and borg and recruit...:D . Best of luck to you in getting a new job and back on track.

Loosing a job is tough, but loosing a job you've had for the last 15 years of your life must terrible. Sorry to hear that. Good luck in finding a new job, don't worry....things have a way of working out for the better.

Thanks for your support everyone.Looks like I have another computer to build for a guy I used to work with.Looks like a borg for 32 to me.:)

Cheer up shadowcat, jobs come and go. I've always had a general rule, never work the same place for more than 5 years, otherwise you get too attached.

And hey, look at your score man, you've blown dust for a long time. You have no reason to let it get to ya. I know the feeling, t'was the same when I had to stop my borging at work and lost 10-15 cpu's.
