i have a p3 500
and a P2b-D (dual) mobo
what can i do to overclock it i have another system ready and thought
to see what i could get out of this sucker

That's actualy a pretty good overclock for a katmai...mine won't do much over 580....don't quite remember...it's been sitting on the shelf a long time

try uping your bus speed a little at a time, I don't know if you will have jumpers, or make your changes in your bios...if you have your manual, look for cpu freaquency settings, or simmiliar wording..and you might be able to figure what to do.
