View Full Version : where can I find a SLOTKET OR SLOCKET adapter?HURRY!!

yes, kids you read that right. I need an old school slotkit slot 1 to socket 370 adapter for my moms "other" $2500 pos Dell she bought a few years ago.

I am putting a XP1700 in her other box that I built her and now she says the Dell is way to slow. well , yes it is.

but I do not want to go that far into swapping parts out of the Dell because it may still be under warranty and also if it goes down I live to far away from her to drive over and fix it.

It will be easier for me to slap a decent Celeron on there and leave it be.

So, where do I find one these days? cant find one on NewEgg and the ones at Ebay are suspect.

I would prefer a MSI or Iwill or name brand but I do not want the $100 powerleap adapter either.

I need this fairly quick so I can get it and have it shipped to me before I go see her next week and re-do both her boxes.
