If you are talking about a Chevette HC, you can stretch 1/2" ID tubing over the stock pipes. You need to soak the tube ends in very hot water for a few minutes and then patiently work the the tubing onto the pipes.

it depends on the core, some cores have oval barbs and or are bent like my 73 caprice , i need to get a a 87 bonnivile...
