I just got all the parts together in my sig for a new computer. I want to have the raptors in RAID 0. So when I booted up my comp, everything was fine and the mobo detected both HDDs perfect. I have them both on their own SATA lines and each drive is set to master. When the RAID utility popped up I went into it and set bot drives into RAID 0 (stripped) so I could have 1 big HDD and install windows onto it. When the windows install screen came up and said "press f6 to install 3rd party SCSI or RAID drivers" I hit F6. I then loaded the SATA drivers on the SATA floppy that came with my mobo and went on with installation. When the screen came to "setup is now ready to install windows, hit ENTER to continue" I hit enter. Then a screen came up and said windows could not find a harddrive installed. I dont get it. I tried a different SATA driver and got to the format part of installation, but no further. It even said once the hardrive may not be connected right or is damaged. Please help!! I need the comp up by tonight!
Thanks
PS- I posted this in 911 section but I think we have narrowed it down to being a windows problem.
