I have it down to four pumps:

1:Swiftech MCP600 12v Water Pump. From what I have read its not bad and the Plus it dose not need a relay.
2:Eheim 1250 110/120V - 317 GPH
3:Eheim 1260 (was 1060) 110/120 Volt - 600 GPH
4. Hydor L30 320GPH (1200 l/h) Pump - 110/120V 1/2" OD Fittings

Setup should be a Large heatercore, DD Danger Den - RBX/WW block, a video card Block which is to be added latter. Gonna use a T-system, and all tubing will be 1/2 ID. I really like the 12 volt pump, but I feel it may not have enought head for the WW or DD RBX.

the swiftech has more head than the 1250 or L30:
see this thread

the 1260 might outpump the swiftech, but only at the expense of
a) dumping more heat intio the water and
b) being huge - its 218x116x161mm - plus you'd need to avoid restricting its inlet to get the best out of it - and that's a 1" ID.

not enough head? Have you look at the graph Catar made some time ago? If not, you should and here is a link to it.
At only 9W, the mcp600 is a good choice, especially if you put 2 blocks in serie and a big two pass HC.

So can you recomend the 600 then? Here is a picture of my heater core.

after using the search tool, I cam acrossed the Quiet one 1200 for 27$ shipped with cupon code. almost 300 GPH and only puts out 25 watts. also 1/2 fittings. It seemes I made a good choice. Many ppl here say its a very good pump.

I can vouch for the Danner Mag 2, works great for a small loop. If you need more power, the Danner Mag 3 is great. you can probably get each for under 50 bucks online.

Before my Mag 2 I had an Aqua Via 1300 and it was ok, it is definately a bargain, but it was fairly loud and it was not able to get the impeller mod to work.

I have heard the Eheim 1250 is great for being quiet and reliable, but the 1060/1260 outputs way too much heat, and is definately over priced.

Of the bunch i would go with a Danner Mag 3 or the swiftech MP600.
