I've got two sticks of Mushkin pc3500 level 2 512MB. I am testing my sticks with memtest86. When I test each stick individually, they come up with no errors. However, when I load both sticks in dual-channel mode, it always comes up with an error at the same address every pass. I've tried many different speeds/timings.

I'm going to run some more tests tonight and see what comes up.

Any suggestions?

Are they OCed and are they a matched memory pair ?
If u OCed them, how much vdimm have u got them running on ? Cuz i know mushkin likes alot of voltage

More details would help.(sys specs, timings, oc'ed or not, which test, etc.)

NF7-S v2, AMD 3200+. I've tried them at stock and other different timings and speeds from 266-400MHz. I just tested them at 2.5-3-3-8 2.8vDimm. I get errors on tests 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11; though 85% of the errors are test 8.

I'm running some more tests on each seperate stick now.

Try reseating the sticks first. If that doesn't work, then either switch their positions, or change the positions from DIMM2&DIMM3 to DIMM1&DIMM3.

Make sure you're running a 1:1 ratio, don't OC yet, keep everything stock.

Have you flashed your BIOS? Some NF7s aren't too happy with the earlier BIOS revisions (like mine), but some boards love 'em. I personally get better results from the latest BIOS.

I couldnt run any 512 sticks in dual channel on my NF7-S rev 2 without getting loads of memtest errors. Even when I flashed to the latest BIOS versoins, it just wouldnt run with double sided 512 sticks.

My only advice is to run in single channel. I got less errors in single channel, and the system was a lot more stable.

Then I bought a DFI Ultra Infinity, problem solved.
