When did New egg ship your order? Almost everything I've ordered from them was shipped within 24 hr. You should have gotten an Email from New Egg with a FedX tracking number. It would seem that the problem would be with FedX & not New Egg!

We did have terrible snow around here with all the schools closed in my area. Right above me where newegg ships from it was a lot worse. You think that they must just be trying to **** you off instead of having a really bad weather delay.

i've used newegg many times, and they're always prompt, so i would blame it on something out of the ordinary.

I sent them an email, and this is what I got. I guess...."the kid that makes the loudest noise gets the most attention..." The order was posted yesterday and went outthis morning and with fed-ex 2 days it is business days only which I do apologize for the confusion and trouble this has caused you. I went ahead and issued you a credit for 20.00 back onto your credit card for the trouble. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.
Customer service at its best ;) ;)

You wait a week, not the end of the world, I hate when people in retail flip out because things don't go perfectly every single time. Stuff happens.

A week wouldn't be too bad if he didn't pa yfor 2 day shipping. The extra cost of 2day should be respected and shipped on time.

I wouldn't expect anything less from newegg with the refund, its a great company.

That is nice. Yeah, I would've complained to if I paid for 2-day and waited a week.

On a awesome note, my last purchase from Newegg arrived in 1 day. :D Ordered on a Tuesday...received on Wednesday. :D

Couldn't believe it because a previous order before was scheduled for delivery in a few days, and they put it on a truck the next day, but then decided to hold it at the facility to stay on the delivery date. I had to wait, I think 2 days, until they took it out of the Fed-Ex facility and finally deliver it. Bah

 Fed-Ex does this to me all the time. One thing I have discovered however is that the bigger the box is the more promptly Fed-Ex delivers it. Im going to start requesting newegg send all my stuff in the biggest boxes they have. lol:p

Don't you guys have the option of picking your package up at FedEx? Just this last friday I missed a FedEx delivery because I was at the Post Office shipping some stuff (go figure). Anyway, I checked the tracking online and found out they tried to deliver my package. Next I called FedEx and was informed my package was at the sorting facility and I could pick it up until 8:30PM. I know some don't have this option, but it might be worth your time to find out if the one you normally recieve packages from does.

Typically if they have already tried to deliver something to you then yes you can go pick it up at their facility, but if they have not tried to deliver it to you then you are unlikely to be able to go pick it up yet, even if it shows as being in the facility. The reason for this is that it is probably still bundled up with everything else that arrived on the same shipment with it, and if the stuff is all slated for a delivery time of a day or two later then it won't necessarily be unboxed yet.

I got my keyboard and mouse + graphics card in a box the size of a monitor box. I had to rumble through it for the invoice to see whatelse was in it but nothing was :o
