If the rest of the system parts are acceptable, you could transfer them to a different MoBo in the same case. I you cannot access the bus speed settings or voltage adjustments, you will not be able to overclock your HP.

Sorry for the bad news.

have a look on your board for a silver chip with a normal chip near it, this is your clock generator, it is usually near the agp slot ot up in the top right hand corner near the memory, write down the manufacturer and serial number, there may be a jumper near it that allows a 100mhz fsb on none 100mhz fsb chips but it isn't definate, you should then try softfsb or cpufsb, if none of these options are there then pne of the pins on the chip controls 100/66mhz fsb selection, I'll find out what it is in a minute, you will need to either snip this (not advisable) or insulate it some how, the insualtion from normal wire should do it, you'll need to strip a bit off a peice of wire then slip it over the pin, I'll be back in a minute with the pin number

Ok the pin is aj33, it is in the top right hand corner of the chip when you hold with the pins facing you and the part of the pin array with the corner missing in the bottom left hand corner, it is the 3rd row down and the 3rd pin across
