I pulled my hs off a barton 2500+ cpu to put it on my friends new board, but theres a little hole in the TIM that's still left on the cpu. Can I push some of it over the whole and cover it to put it back on the processor, or am I screwed into waiting for my as5 to come in (next week I think)?
If I have to use the thermal grease, can I use a clean credit card to just scrape the TIM off w/o using isopropyl alcohol, (I haven't even used the cpu yet)?
