3dMark03 problems

I have the 3.4.0 version of 3dMark03. Whenever I run the benchmark, it just starts my FPS at zero and goes all the way up to 2500+ as the benchmark game runs. It happens in all tests. What should I do?

do you have the same problem on the older 3Dmark 2001? maybe it's a driver issue?
