I have a p3 1ghz and i'm running on my Abit SA6-Raid Mobo, everything runs fine but i can only take it to 151FSB. Is this normal? also, what voltage should i have it at, the default is 1.75@1ghz i'm running on a stock cooler and cheap oem ram.

1 GHz P3 at 1133 MHz corresponds to the average "overclockability" of this CPU. On the SA6R you can increase Core voltage up to 1.9 V. Try it. If you don't reach higher FSB,
you are on the limit (CPU or SDRAM).
You must be attentive on the CPU temperature!

151mhz FSB isn't enough for you @ 1.13Ghz?? You're already doing fabulous job with your stock cooler and cheap OEM RAM. That cheap RAM obviously is doing hell of job. what's the cas setting anyways?
If your system is running stable at that FSB @ 1.75V Vcore, then I see you have no problem. Geez... I figure you can go quite higher with better cooling and little bit of bumping Vcore.
with cC0 stepping, P3's OC limit is around 1.13Ghz.

well, my ram is cas3 when i try to run it at cas2 the system becomes unstable. the fsb@151 and a 4:3:1 ratio the ystem runs fine with no extra cooling. cooling is not a problem, my problem is i can get the thing to even post if i go higher, i increased the voltages and it didn't post either, i mean is a 133mhz increase that good for i 1gig? i figured i can take it to 1333, i think it's this ram, but i don't card i only paid 35 for 256megs of it
